Creating Policy for Defining a Fair Usage

Overview

Plan Design allows to define fair usage for the unlimited data plans. You need to set up the policy for your provider. You can set a fair usage threshold while defining your plans after creating a policy on the Network tab. You are looking for information on how to update these settings.

Solution

In order to manage the provider settings, one needs to use the Plan/Config user for the provider.

  1. Log in to the Plan UI with the Plan User.
  2. Select the Network icon from the left, and go to the Policy section.
  3. Define the name and below and above threshold values for the counter. Note: These values are the ones that are set in your PCRF. Screen_Shot_2022-11-17_at_01.16.31.png
  4. Save the Settings using the button on the top right.
